How can KPN optimize its partnership with eDivisie in such a way that FIFA19-players are brought together with their (esports)heroes?

Concept
2Basics and KPN developed the KPN eDivisie Cup: an open FIFA19 tournament, linking Dutch amateur players to professional FIFA19 players from the eDivisie in one big tournament. Preliminary rounds were held online, and the finals were played during an on-location, offline event.
Results
Over 5.500 Dutch FIFA-players registered for the KPN eDivisie Cup. The online preliminary rounds received ample coverage on the eDivisie online channels and in Dutch gaming/esports media. The finals were covered by the Jeugdjournaal, a prominent news channel for the Dutch youth, and were also later included in the broadcast of the professional eDivisie finals on FOX Sports.
Overall, the KPN eDivisie Cup reinforced KPN’s position in the gaming community.
